The short that started it all, and spawned a decade of imitations. We designed this short because there was nothing like it on the market at the time.

Surrounded by yogis wearing generic cotton based shorts and sweatpants in a hot yoga teacher training session, our founder thought: this room would look much better if people were wearing more colorful and comfortable outfits.

This short was her answer, and its become a staple not only in Shakti's line, but nearly every clothing company catering to hot and Bikram yoga since.

It is a knitted fabric that combines polyamide with elastane yarn. Lighter weight and thinner than our cool form fabric,  It is meant for heated rooms and hot places. This material is so light and so soft that it is often described as equivalent to the feeling of wearing nothing at all!. 

It contains  50 UV protection.
